Almost every filling of Pipacs made recordings from songs they played. Originally on vinyl or tape, now the entire band uses a studio for their tracks.

In 1996 Pipacs released the first CD, which was in cooperation with the famous Gregor Serban. His very last solo, Karobuschka, has been captured on this disc. Now, almost a decade later, Pipacs entered the studios again resulting in a new album, including drawling Hungarian and swinging Rumanian tracks.
In the weekend of 20 and 21 april 2002 the Museum of Technology in Delft was the perfect place for recording these new songs. After two intensive days of making music and listening, about 70 minutes of new tracks have been recorded. At Ottavo Recordings they edited the raw material into a great album. From september 2002 on the result can be found on the CD "Pipacs ... Return of the Legend".
